UPSC Admit Card, also known as “e-Admit Card”, is a mandatory document that you need to carry to the exam hall. Without it, you will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

- Admit card release date: Admit cards are usually released 2-3 weeks before the exam date.
- How to Download: You can download it only from the official website of UPSC https://upsconline.nic.in/
- Go to the “e-Admit Card” section.
- To download it you will need your Registration ID (or Roll Number) and Date of Birth.
- What to Check: Once you download the admit card, verify all the details carefully:
- Your Name.
- Your Roll Number.
- Your Registration ID,
- Date of Birth.
- Photograph and Signature.
- Exam Time and Date.
- Exam Centre.
- What to do if there is any error: Immediately contact the UPSC Facilitation Centre or the concerned official through email or phone, details of which are given in the admit card release notification.
- Documents to carry along with admit card: You need to carry photo identity card (original) like Aadhar card, Voter ID card, Passport, Driving License etc.
About UPSC NDA & NA Exam 2025
UPSC conducts National Defence Academy and Naval Academy examinations (NDA & NA) twice a year to recruit candidates into Army, Navy and Air Force branches of NDA and Indian Naval Academy.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA 2025
- Nationality: Indian citizen, or a citizen of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962.
- Age Limit: 16.5 to 19.5 years as on the date of publication of notification. You must not have been born before 2nd July 2005 and after 1st July 2008 (for NDA 1 2024). There will be a change of one year in the dates for 2025 exams.
- Educational Qualification:
- For Army Wing: Passed class 12th or equivalent from a recognized board.
- For Air Force, Navy and Naval Academy: 12th class passed with Physics and Maths. (Candidates appearing in the exam can also apply).
- Marital Status: Unmarried male candidates (Note: As of now, NDA is open only for male candidates. Admission for female candidates is through other channels like Indian Military Academy).
- Exam Pattern
- Tear I: Mathematics (300 marks) – 120 Questions.
- Taer II: General Aptitude Test (GAT) (600 marks) – 150 Questions (English, General Knowledge, Physics, Chemistry, General Science, History, Geography, Current Affairs).
This is followed by the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview process, which includes psychological tests, group tasks and an officer interview for candidates who qualify the written exam.
